People and Over-Reacting

Perception is a funny thing, to be sure.
I remember playing a PlayStation game called "Simpson's Road Rage" once for about three hours straight through, and while it was FUN!....while driving home I noticed my inclination to driving too fast.
Perception." I'm not in the game anymore," I kept having to tell myself.

Or, the three cats all in a Crab-Apple tree one Summer. These three cats all yowling at each other (and just outside the window… Continue

OK OK

It'll take me a moment, but the music has got to get perkier!
Dang!
I have these on my blogs! It's too sad, too much!
For crying out loud!
Did I ever tell you folks about when my Old Man died?
http://www.humortimes.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=90
Someone I met up with on a mental level (you know...internet) threw me a shovel while I was at the bottom of my hole, and I used it to make a ladder to get the heck out!
So, let me get some music together for a moment and I'll get things rolling again..… Continue

well, time stops for no man or dog

and that is the reason for the sad music.
couldn't even make myself play fun stuff. I tried. At least twice.
Then...it just fell together.
Funny how it works out, eh?

Audience Participation Joke

(you will be told when to participate)
When Terry the Tuna died, it was a sad day.
He was about the best solo singer in the whole Bay, bringing fish from as far as New Zealand to hear his truly magnificent voice as he belted out some great jazz songs from the surface folk.
But, as luck would have it, Sam the Clam had just built an extension to his disco and had Terry the Tuna listed as the opening night act when he went and got caught, dragged up on the deck of a ship, gutted and flash fr… Continue

burying my best friend, Princess Gninski

No, she isn't dead, yet, but if I find out that she's the reason I can't find my upper plates (teeth) that could change!

But, I take her out with me when I'm digging the hole. We joke each other...stuff like,
"Gosh, Gni Gni...do you think this hole's wide enough?"
...and then she bites me in the leg.
It's our way...

There will be plenty of time for crying after she closes her eyes for the last time, though I'm fairly certain I can get her to open them one more time… Continue

Hey sugar, how in the heck have you been. I'm finally getting the first rain here and it's coming down enough to last all winter. Been toying with your wonderful music? I finally went out and bought me a little 100 dollar keyboard so I can play around. I'm not blessed to read music but I love to tink on keys anyway. It has plenty of sounds and rythyms and some day in my copious spare time I will get it all figured out. For now it's just fun. I went up to Sequoia and the colors were brilliant now that its Fall. I can't imagine how beautiful it must be at your place right now. Let me know how you are Big guy. Hugs!!!! and more Hugs!!!

Sad News

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community.
The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma
complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin.
Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch.
The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who
never knew how much he was kneaded.
Doughboy rose quickly in show business,
but his later life was filled with turnovers.
He was not considered a very smart cookie,
wasting much of his dough on half baked schemes.
Despite being a little flaky at times,
he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children: John Dough, Jane Dough
and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven.
He is also survived by his elderly father,
Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
